This year has been crazy with us moving to our new building. Since my normal job at the library is IT (technology) this has been an extremely busy year. I am very thankful for our regular Chat n Crafters. Planning for the meetings have been a great stress reliever for me. The new building has some issues, that I have been told is normal for a new building, but the kinks are being worked out.

I am sure there is a bunch more items that are being worked on by our group (there are a bunch of us that can not make it to the meetings every month) the following are the items that were being worked on or brought to the last two meetings we have had.

These are the pictures of items brought to our last 3 meetings. Pictures can not show all the detail of their beautiful work. You do see several of the mystery crochet afghans that were worked on this past year. 2017 we will bring back every other month classes. Look for the blog post for the classes to see if there is one you can’t wait to do.

It was nice to be able to spread out while we worked on our projects. Several of the ladies brought some of the recently completed projects too. Enjoy!

We had several of the Mystery Crochet Afghan blocks this month plus some projects that are work in progress as well as some completed items. I am excited to see how everyone is progressing and hope next month more will be able to bring theirs.

This past year and this year are pretty busy. I am behind in everything work related, including this blog. Since the contract has been awarded for the new building and construction is beginning this month, I am hoping I can play catch up. To start the new year I thought I would post all the Show n Tell pictures that have been taken over several months this past fall and late summer meetings.

It amazes me all the variety of homemade items. Yes, including the banjo, baby doll purse (you have to look for the purse when it is open), so many to mention. Below are several items that have two pictures about them. Enjoy

We had an interesting meeting on Quilting Basics. The first quilt shown below is over 30 years old. I always caused them Puff quilts because you stuffed each square and then sewed them together. The lady is going to be doing sewing some repairs. In the back left corner of the tables is the laptop of our first Skype member, Linda. She was able to watch and participate in our entire meeting.

We had our meeting last night and everyone was working on a different type of project. Crochet, plastic canvas, quilting, drawing and hairpin lace. Though I did not do much hairpin lacing during the meeting and did not take a picture of what I was working on.

This first group of pictures are from 2014
