Next meeting will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the West Community Room at Joplin Public Library, 5:30pm – 8:00pm or any part of that time you can make it.

We are going to learn a Tunisian crochet stitch. Not the basic one that we have done before. I will try to have a few instructions for a few different stitches and we will watch a video or two on how-to. Bring your afghan crochet hook and some light colored yarn. We will be making a dishcloth size piece.

You are always welcome to BYOP (Bring Your Own Project) that you are working on. Plus bring any of your projects you would like to for Show n Tell.

Each month I will edit this post to show the next meeting so please check this blog page monthly.

December 14th – White Elephant trade – it’s the 2nd Monday instead of our normal 3rd Monday, bring anything that you have that you are not going to use, like a kit you started but don’t want to do, some yarn that you no longer want to use, some fabric that just does not go with your stash…..

It was a wide assortment of projects. Some of these are presents for some lucky individuals. We even have one that is a hint for one of classes next year. Glad we were able to have so many attend and give us ideas for next years classes. I am still working on which six they will be.

This month we did not have as many ladies as we normally do but everyone had something. I took a picture off of a phone for one of these and then played with photo editing to make the stitches stand out more. Bet you will be able to figure out which. Plus I am posting a close up of some really tiny crocodile stitching that is going to be a bracelet after it is felted. I for one can’t wait to see the finished project.
